On Monday, someone needed assistance trapping six cats, including a possibly pregnant female.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we continued trapping.
By Friday evening, we trapped 26 cats.
All the cats were neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and given any necessary medical care, and several were placed up for adoption, including the kittens and a few adults.
26 cats will not reproduce and add to the never-ending amount of community cats who need to be trapped.
26 cats will have a reduced risk of cancer, with some types being completely eliminated.
The male cats will be less likely to fight with each other.
The females will not have to go through the constant processes of being pregnant and raising kittens.
The kittens will not have to go through another winter living outside.
If two people can do this in just five days, imagine what could be done if everyone helped the cats in their community.
